Four Seasons Hotel Amman unveils new room and suite offerings

Guests heading to Four Seasons Hotel Amman can look forward to experiencing a new look and feel in all Superior, Deluxe and Premium rooms and Four Seasons Executive Suites as the Hotel reveals a complete inventory of refurbished accommodation this month.

Key elements include a complete soft renovation of all standard guest rooms and Executive Suites, including refreshed colour schemes of soothing blue and gold, replacement of soft furnishings such as wall coverings, wall art, bed and bathroom accessories and carpets on all guest floors.

Technological upgrades were also undertaken, offering guests heightened comfort and consideration throughout their stay. The refurbished rooms now feature light dimmers, flat-screen TVs with DVD players and an interactive TV menu, and iPod docking stations, all incorporated to suit the lifestyle of the modern business and leisure traveler.

Ritz-Carlton to manage iconic hotel in Oman

Ritz-Carlton has expanded its portfolio in the Middle East with the announcement that it is taking over the management of one of the most iconic hotels in the region, the Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Muscat, Oman.

In signing the deal with Oman's Ministry of Tourism, Ritz-Carlton said it will begin managing the 250-room hotel from July 1. The hotel, which will be the chain's seventh in the region, has been operated by Intercontinental for the past eight years.

Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel will be Ritz-Carlton's first hotel in Oman and seventh overall in the region. Days Inn in Roanoke Reopens After Major Fire

Roanoke, VA – Just five months after a fire destroyed more than 80 rooms at the Days Inn Civic Center Roanoke (Virginia), the hotel is open for business.

City leaders couldn't be happier with the hotel's new owner, who has been chasing his American Dream in the Roanoke Valley for more than 17 years now.

A day before its grand re-opening in January, a fire broke out at the hotel. It ended up destroying 81 rooms and nearly the spirit of the man who had sunk hundreds of thousands of dollars into it, Ssunny Shah.

"It was scary, very scary… we didn't know what to do," said Shah.

Now, five months later and the first generation American is so excited, he's having trouble sleeping.

"I was awake until 2 o'clock worried about how we're going to handle all of this tomorrow morning," said Shah.

Al Diar Siji Hotel invests in refurbishments

In its continuing efforts to provide nothing less than high quality products and services to guests, the five-star Al Diar Siji Hotel Fujairah is investing heavily in refurbishments. The first phase of the refurbishment which covered the ballroom and public area including the lobby lounge has already been completed.

Carpets in the Masafi Ballroom which is one of the largest function rooms in the East Coast had been changed, together with the Masafi Foyer. Meetings & conferences facilities have also been upgraded and two new meetings rooms have been added.

The lobby lounge and reception area now sport a new look with the installation of new carpets and upgrading of furniture.

"With these refurbishments, we aim at maintaining customer loyalty by always meeting their expectations," explained Mr. Fouad Melhem, the hotel's general manager, who also heads Siji Hotel Apartments, a luxury serviced property also in Fujairah.
